ORDERING WITH A SCANNER

CONNECT YOUR SCANNER

To begin, connect your TE issued scanner to your mobile device or laptop. First, make sure your Bluetooth is turned on and your device is discoverable.

Turn on your TE issued scanner and find the scanner in the list of available devices. It should be titled, "C barcode scanner," select the scanner to initiate the connection. The scanner will beep once and the LED light will turn solid blue when connected.

If connecting for the first time, scan the bar code below with the scanner to initiate the connection:

Scanning Shortcut

The following shortcuts pair specifically with the Netum C740 Wireless Barcode Scanner.

​

​To activate your IOS keyboard when entering an order, scan the command barcode below.
Pop up the keyboard by double clicking the scanner button.

This scanner should scan both UPC-A and Code 39 by default. UPC-A is for UPCs, Code 39 is for Truong Item Id. If you encounter any issues,scan the following command barcodes to activate the different codes.
